Nominations are now being accepted for the Arm TechCon 2017 Innovation Awards. These awards are open to all exhibitors at ARM TechCon 2017 (October 24-26, 2017, in the Santa Clara Convention Center). The Innovation Awards honor that intoxicating moment when illumination kindles the long, painstaking work of R&D, and innovation is born.
The Arm TechCon event facilitates the collaboration between hardware and software communities with the goal of creating a more integrated and collaborative design environment. The event, managed by Design News’ parent company UBM, brings together hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects working across a broad range of applications, from wearables to drones to servers.
The Innovation Awards highlight the most innovative Arm-based solutions and products developed between Oct. 1, 2016, and Sept. 30, 2017. If you’re still awed by your company’s last aha moment and are exhibiting at Arm TechCon , be sure to enter before the Sept. 18 deadline.
This year, you can submit your product in these five categories:
- Best Use of Advanced Technologies (artifical intellegence, virtual or augmented reality, machine learning, computer vision)
- Best Use of Technology in Education
- Best Wearable Device
- Best Contribution to IoT Security
- Best Contribution to an Open-Source Software Project
